ATV Driver Seriously Injured in Crash- Jefferson Street , Centerport

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured an ATV driver today in Centerport.

Joseph Pace was operating a 2011 Polaris westbound on Jefferson Street Sunday November 13, 2016 at 1:10 a.m. when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

Pace, 32, of Northport, was transported by Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The ATV was impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Second Squad 631-852-8252.
