Dear Editor,
I want to take this opportunity to express my most sincere gratitude to the residents of the 12th
Assembly District for their overwhelming support over the past 14 years. During my tenure within the New York State Assembly I have always considered the needs of the 12th Assembly District residents as my top priority, and the outpouring support I received on Election Day indicated their strong approval of the work I have done as their representative in Albany.
Moving forward, I am eager to return to the Capitol to begin tackling difficult issues that affect the residents of the 12th Assembly District. I have outlined my agenda for the next legislative session, including my plans for battling corruption in Albany, protecting our drinking water and environment, the heroin epidemic, local economic development initiatives, and maintaining our quality education system for all Long Islanders.
I will continue my work in Albany to ensure the 12th Assembly District remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you to the residents of Huntington, Babylon, and Islip for your unwavering support, and I look forward to representing our great community during the 2016-2017 legislative sessions.
Sincerely,
Andrew P. Raia
Member of Assembly
