Juried Photography Show – Marc Josloff, Juror
On Display February 2 – 25, 2017
JUROR: Marc Josloff has been the president of the Long Island Center of Photography as well as its discussion and critique facilitator. He is a painting instructor at the National Art League in Douglaston. Marc has been the recipient of international awards for both his painting and photography and, in 2004, “Artist’s Magazine” selected him as one of 11 “Artists to Watch.”
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all photographers including full time students.
MEDIUM: All photo-based works are acceptable, but image elements used must be original to the artist.
ENTRIES: All entries must be original to entrant. Must be framed with hanging wire on back. No artwork previously shown in the Main Street Gallery will be accepted. Submission materials cannot be returned.
SIZE FRAMED: Work must NOT EXCEED 18″ x 24″, framed
ENTRY FEE: First 2 entries:
Artist members $30, Full-time students $25, Non-members
$40. Additional entries $5 ea. No more than 2 works per artist
will be selected.
SALES: The Huntington Arts Council retains a 25% commission on all work sold.
LIABILITY & INSURANCE: All work is insured while in the possession of the Huntington Arts Council.
ENTRY DEADLINE: January 6, 2017
RECEPTION: Friday, February 3, 2017 6-8pm
SHOW RUNS: February 2 – 25, 2017
