2017 Events and Services at the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center

Below you will find services, events and training courses for the month of January on-site at the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center.

In case you can not open the attached documents, they are as follows:

• St. Joseph’s College Math Class – Thursday, January 12 to Thursday, February 9, 2017.  Class meets only on Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 7:30 pm
• Carecen Pathways to Citizenship – Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 9 am to 1 pm Appointments ONLY
• St. Joseph’s College Reading/Writing Class – Tuesday, January 18, 2017 to February 21, 2017.  Class meets only on Tuesday evenings from 6 pm to 7:30 pm
• Huntington Community Council’s “Mobile Fundraising Technology” for Not for-Profit agencies – Monday, January 23, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10 am
• Gift Card Giveaway drawing – Friday, January 27, 2017 

We are so happy to bring needed services and educational programming like this to the residents and the Suffolk County community at-large.

Remember the Resource Center has great partners on-site weekly and some monthly, that are here to assist.

*PSEG LI Consumer Advocate every Thursday from 1 am to 5 pm; 

*Council of Thought & Action Case Manager every Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm; 

*Council of Thought & Action Peer Support Group every Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm; 

*Long Island Cares VetsWork Case Manager every 2nd Tuesday from 9 am to 12 pm; 

*Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council Medical Insurance Rep for the Aged, Blind and Disabled every 2nd Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm

*Veteran Services Day (Veterans Only) every 2nd Friday from 10 am to 3 pm
