Winter 2017 

 *NEW* Winter Concert Information

NSO’s next concert will be Friday, February 17, 2017!

Our program will feature pianist, Edward Lattari, who will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23. Mr. Lattari is a pianist and music educator and a Long Island native.  He majored in music at York College of Pennsylvania, earning a BA in Piano Performance, and is also a graduate of the music education program at Hofstra University.  He currently studies with Carol Montparker and is a music teacher in the East Williston School District.

And, to complete the program, NSO will present Symphony No. 31 also by Mozart and Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by George Frederic Handel.

This will truly be an evening to remember, so mark your calendar for February 17th. The concert will take place at Northport High School at 8:00 PM. As always, admission is free. Bring your family and friends for an evening of glorious music!  
Northport HS is located at 154 Laurel Hill Rd., Northport (corner of Elwood Rd.).

We have positions open in all strings, trumpet, french horn, and trombone. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in East Northport. For an appointment or more information: musicdirector@northportorchestra.org.
