SUFFOLK COVID-19 CASE UPDATE – April 26, 2020, 2:00 p.m.
Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 through 2:00 p.m. on April 26, 2020
- 83,244 COVID-19 tests have been administered
- 5 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19
- 32,822 confirmed cases, up 637 from April 25
- Breakdown by town of COVID-19 cases can be found below
- 1,134 patients are hospitalized, a decrease of 41 from April 25
- 443 of hospitalized patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), a decrease of 10 patients from April 25
- 1,070 individuals have died
- 28 deaths have been reported since April 25
- 3,345 hospital beds; 778 ICU beds
- 109 additional patients were discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours.
