A Blue Suzuki motorcycle and a 1999 White  Jeep Cherokee collided on NY Avenue in front of the Cactus Salon at approximately 3:15pm today. Huntington First Aid and Huntington Fire Department responded. Suffolk County Police responded to an incident in which four good samaritans lifted a car off a man in Huntington.
Jose Rios, 47, pulled over on Madison Street, alongside Heckscher Park, when he heard his muffler making noises at approximately 5:55 p.m. Rios lifted his 1993 Toyota Corolla with a jack and went underneath the car to inspect the problem. […]
