Huntington Supervisor Frank P. Petrone wants Town residents to know about these options to help beat the heat this week:
Lifeguards will remain on duty until 7:30 p.m. at Crab Meadow, Centerport and Quentin Sammis/West Neck Beaches, at least through Wednesday. Lifeguards normally go off duty at 6 p.m., after which swimming is prohibited.
