I’ve never really had the aversion to remakes and reboots so prevalent amongst film critics and fans these days. Today, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association President Noel DiGerolamo announced agreement on a landmark 10-year contract. The deal, which would represent the first negotiated contract in more than 20 years, breaks the cynical cycle of arbitration and makes historic progress in saving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.

The Harborfields Central School District welcomed Dr. Rory Manning as the principal of Harborfields High School, effective July 16, 2012. Dr. Manning joins Harborfields by way of Sachem Central School District, where he served as principal of Sachem High School East.
