Stimson Junior Honor Society Ceremony

On May 4th, 166 students at Henry L. Stimson Middle School were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Students from 7th and 8th grade were honored for their academic accomplishments and community service. Proud family members watched the ceremony. Congratulations to all.

NYS DEC Closes Shellfishing in Huntington Waterways

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation closed shellfishing waters in the Town of Huntington on Wednesday after finding a marine biotoxin that can cause a potentially fatal illness in several shellfish samples.
