Huntington Station Mom/RN Killed by Drunk Driver While Stopped at Red Light

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Lindenhurst man for driving while intoxicated following a three-vehicle crash that killed a woman in Huntington Station last night.
Ryan Gurecki was driving a 2010 Ford Explorer westbound on Jericho Turnpike when he struck a 2016 Ford Escape that was stopped at a red light on westbound Jericho Turnpike, waiting to make a left turn onto Route 110 at 9:23 p.m. June 26, 2016.

Dead Body Found at Tri-Village Little League Field Greenlawn

The Town of Huntington and Suffolk County Police have closed the Tri-Village Little League baseball fields because someone this morning walking their dog came across a dead body at the facility. Police were called at 7:11 am this morning about the body. Police have told us that a Hispanic male was found near one of the sheds in the park. He had many lacerations on his body.

Ryan Gurecki Arrested for DWI Again

Today at District Court in Central Islip Ryan Gorecki 34 of LINDENHURST NY was arraigned on DWI pleaded not guilty bail was set at $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond. For Killing Karen Holden of Huntington in a fatal DWI accident June 26, 2016.

Body Found at Tri-Village Little League Field Greenlawn Identified

Suffolk County Police have identified the body found at the Tri-Village Little League baseball fields on August 20,2016 as Estiven Abrego Gomez, 18, of Greenlawn. Someone on that day walking their dog came across a the dead body at the facility. Police were called at 7:11 am August 20, 2016 about the body. Police had told us that a Hispanic male was found near one of the sheds in the park. He had many lacerations on his body.

Huntington Station Teen Arrested With Many ATV/Quads, Community Helps Find

Suffolk County Police today arrested a Male teen for possessing multiple stolen ATV’s in Huntington Station.
Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Patrol officers responded to a call from a complainant who observed his stolen ATV at 27 West Pulaski Road at approximately 3:40 p.m June 1, 2016. Community members have been watching as the illegal riding of the off the road vehicles is happening all over Huntington, Huntington Station, Greenlawn and Melville. Community members have their eyes wide open and ears to the ground. Because of the thefts which have been posted on social media, the community has been calling the police. Sources have told us that this case the complainant was called by a community member.

Adam Saalfield – GUILTY in the Murder of Maggie Rosales

On October 29, 2014 Adam Saalfield was arrested Suffolk County Police Homicide detectives in Huntington Station, for the murder of Maggie Rosales. Maggie Rosales was found lying on Lynch Street, on October 12, 2014, stabbed to death by Adam Saalfield. Adam Saalfield, 21, of Huntington Station was arrested Wednesday afternoon by homicide detectives. He was charged with Murder in the 2nd degree.

Twenty Nine New Police and Rangers Deployed in Huntington, Criminals Beware

The Town and County have deployed additional resources in Huntington to curb the violence and restore confidence to the community.
What Huntington Town is Doing:
Huntington officials have deployed armed Park Rangers to be assigned to parks in Huntington Station, this Labor Day weekend. The 6 part time Rangers would have peace officer status, which allows them to carry guns, and will patrol parks in Huntington. This new Rangers are part-time and are getting paid $23.53 per hour. Active Homicide Investigation in Huntington Village-UPDATED

Early on May 25 2016 around 3 am 2 citizens found a dead body on Clinton Avenue in Huntington Village. The unresponsive male was taken to Huntington Hospital were he was pronounced dead. According to Officials the victim was not part of any altercation from inside the bar Mary Carroll’s. Homicide detectives have ruled this a murder. Police should find more evidence from the larger amount of surveillance equipment from many of the businesses in the area.

Unidentified Dead Male Body Found in Huntington Station

According to police someone who was passing by the parking lot behind the Auto Zone on NY Avenue discovered a dead body around 9:50am December 9, 2016. The police are investigating as to the cause of death and for the identification of the Male that was found.

22nd Act of Violence in 2016 Two Men Shot, One Killed, in Huntington Station
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured another in Huntington Station early this morning, Shotspotter was activated too.
Antoine Butts-Miller 18 year old was standing outside 233 5th Ave. with a large group of people when he and another man were shot at approximately 3:30 a.m.
