Asharoken Mayor Pat Irving has declared a State of Emergency for the Village of Asharoken. Asharoken Avenue is closed.
Conditions at the sea wall have worsened to the point where vehicular travel in that area has become dangerous.

Right now there are still 22,360 customers in the township of Huntington without electric as per LIPA.

At 10pm there were 4,200 customers without power.
